Fawsyde House Montrose
From the first crunch of the gravel as you wind your way along the north drive you will recognise there is something very special about Fawsyde house. Located close to Stonehaven near Aberdeen, the former home of Lord and Lady Coville, Fawsyde House is a privately owned classic Victorian mansion complete with its own folly.
Set in eleven acres of woodland and situated only 20 minutes from Aberdeen city on the A92, Fawsyde House provides a luxurious retreat for that special occasion or important meeting when tranquillity and seclusion are key ingredients.
The house was originally built in 1856 but was bought in 2000 by Debbie and Phil Murray. Initially used as a family home before they extensively refurbishing it in 2008 into a very special house for business and personal use.
On the edge of Kinneff village just south of Stonehaven, Fawsyde House is set in is own private grounds and has a walled garden, tennis court and gothic folly. Easily accessible from the main road it provides ideal privacy and seclusion for confidential business meetings or personal retreats.
The house itself has been preserved in classic tradition supplemented with subtle modern flair throughout to provide a blend of past and present. The result is elegant, yet comfortable.
Thistle Catering Team catered for my sisters wedding, everything was perfect, honestly I can’t fault a thing. The food was fabulous on the day and we had some great feedback from the wedding guests. The chefs and waitresses were wonderful and helped make the day special. I would highly recommend Thistle Catering they really gave us great service from beginning to end!
