Husband and wife team Graham and Lorraine take great pride in pursuing their dream of running their own succesful business. The company is all encompassing, including outside catering, cater hire, licensed bars and event management. Grahams background is Royal Navy management and latterly in the oil industry.
Lorraine has been in hospitality for the last 20 years. Formerly a manager in the NHS, and a Non Executive Director for a Cancer Charity for 10 years, Lorraine now dedicates her time to building up the business. Together they operate a steady ship catering for customers throughout Scotland.
At the heart of it all, owner and founder Lorraine Smith, a self confessed organiser…who cares.
She may be the Manager but Lorraine can often be found at events front of house helping and supporting both staff and clients.
Working as a volunteer in third world countries helping those less advantaged, is how Lorraine spends some of her spare time.
Married to Graham, they make a great team at the heart of Thistle…

We have a great team of kitchen staff, chefs, dishwashers, catering assistants, with extensive catering industry experience. Our enthusiastic “can do approach” staff go the extra mile to ensure our food is great tasting and on budget.
